ABOUT CIFT
Council of Indian Food Trade (CIFT) is an apex trade and investment promotion organization in
Indian Food Industry. CIFT is serving as global platform for trade facilitation, partnerships,
technology, investments and agribusiness services. A proactive approach helps CIFT in
discerning critical challenges emerging in Indian agriculture along with creating opportunities
for development, value addition and international trade to augment farmers’ growth and farm
revenue. Industry oriented Working Groups and sector specific Councils CIFT represent the
interests of key stakeholders at the national level and through international platforms and
partnerships it facilitates global engagement and positions India’s food and agriculture sector
prominently on the world map CIFT is also recognized and supported by the Department of
Commerce, Govt. of India. We work towards facilitating the growth of Indian food industry with
